Revonda Young, SLP

I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 1982. I graduated with a B.S. in Communication Disorders from East Tennessee State University, and a M.A. Ed. in Communication Disorders from Western Carolina University. I hold a license in the state of North Carolina and have a Certificate of Clinical Competence. I have practiced in rehabilitation settings, private practices, and school systems, working with both children and adults. I currently serve ages 3-22.

My goal as a Speech Therapist is to insure that all students are able to use and understand language and speak with confidence and clarity that will help them be successful in the classroom and in the community. Abilities I address may include the following:

Articulation, Expressive and Receptive Language, Stuttering, Cluttering, Social Skills, Life Skills, Safe Feeding practices for those that are significantly disabled, etc.

Your students needs are my priority and creative and individualized approaches will be used to get the best result. Every student has the potential to grow in their ability to communicate.
