Hello!
My name is Rachel White and I am a fourth grade teacher at William W. Estes Elementary School. I started my teaching career in Lexington, Kentucky where I had taught for three years. I earned my bachelors degree in elementary education at the University of Kentucky. Go wildcats! I then started teaching at Estes in 2021.
I had always grown up visiting my grandparents in Brevard and I finally decided to actually move to Asheville! I fell in love with the mountains and adventures the city of Asheville holds. My golden retriever, Meeks, loves it here too!
Becoming a teacher has always been a goal of mine ever since I can remember. My favorite part about teaching is getting to know each of my students and watching them grow in their academics.
