Rachael Ide - Title 1 Reading Specialist

• Although most of my career has been as a classroom teacher, my love of teaching children to read has been front and center.

• Before teaching, I attended the University of Vermont.

• I began my teaching career at Keene Middle School in Keene, New Hampshire.

• Throughout the years I have mentored many teachers, worked on developing curriculum and helped students to grow so they could reach their full potential.

• When not at school, I can be found enjoying my days with my husband, David, my dog, Finley, or spending time with my two sons, Matthew and Ethan.

• I believe that all children can learn to read and that reading allows doors to open.
