This week we should finished our novel "Thunder Rolling in the Mountains". As each class finishes the novel, they will have an assessment that will test their overall understanding of the novel. Then we will be gathering text evidence for our essay that we will be writing to wrap up our module.
We visit the library every Tuesday. Students are allowed to check out up to five books. They can keep the books for 2 weeks. Please help your child to remember to bring books on Tuesday if they need to be returned or if they want new books. I required all students to check out at least one book so they always have something to read.
ELA Homework - Please make sure your child is reading to reach the monthly goal of 320 minutes. Just a reminder that the reading calendar is a grade!
