Penny Caldwell

Currently I am happy to serve as the assistant principal for both Candler and Leicester Elementary. I am a compassionate, professional, educator and leader with twenty-eight years of experience in the educational arena. I am a graduate of Western Carolina University and have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading with a Post Master’s Certificate in Administration. I have taught grades 1-5, served as a reading specialist and have directed several remediation and enrichment programs,. As an administrator, I will work to ensure that all Candler/Leicester Elementary School students strive for academic “Excellence”, and become productive citizens in the community.
