Kindergarten teacher at West Buncombe Elementary.

I got my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia University specializing in early childhood and special education. I completed my masters degree at Western Carolina in Literacy and Learning Disabilities. I also have my National Board certification as an Early Childhood Generalist. During my career, I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, resource, and been a Title One Lead teacher.

I enjoy coming to school each day! It is my goal to engage students at their level and help them reach their full potential. School should be a place where students feel valued and become confident in their own abilities.
