  1. Grading Scale

English II will follow the traditional American grading scale listed below:

A = 90% - 100% B = 80% - 89% C = 70% - 79% D = 60% - 69% F = 50% - 59%


  1. Late Work

Any assignment that is not submitted by the designated due date is considered to be a “Late Assignment”. Late assignments will be docked 25% and students may receive up to 75% of said assignment. If an assignment is turned in 2 weeks after the due date, the greatest score a student can achieve is a 50%. All assignments that are still missing at the end of the 9 week period will be marked as a 0. Students who were absent may receive extra time.


IMPORTANT: All late must be accompanied by an email to Mr. Reller. This email must include the assignment and the date in which it was turned in.


  1. Revisions and Trying Again

If you receive a grade that you are unhappy with, you have the power to change it! Please read the feedback provided by Mr. Reller and try again. Students may redo quizzes, assignments and projects. Students must contact Mr. Reller via email if they wish to redo an assignment.


  1. Plagiarism and Academic Dishonesty

Plagiarism, or cheating of any kind, will result in a 0. Students will also receive a disciplinary referral (honor code violation). Any assignment that is plagiarized will not be able to be redone.


  1. EOC

At the end of the semester, students will take the 4 hour EOC test for English II. This test will account for 25% of the students final grade.
