2023 Hilltopper
It's black and white. It's pretty simple. The yearbook this year is all about how it's our time and we gotta make the most of it. We can be active and involved or we can relax and chill out. We've got to celebrate, achieve, engage, create, relax, compete, smile, and reflect on all the amazing things that happened at NBHS this year. Our book has color photos but all black and white as a way to emphasize our school colors. The gray that you see on the image to the left is actually a clear UV coating, so the book is a crisp black and white with a little shine. The staff also chose a blended coverage style - with student life, academics, and clubs being mixed together under our theme words. New this year also, we printed our table of contents on the front end sheet instead of in the book. We ordered 510 copies of the yearbook and SOLD OUT again for the second year in a row.

2022 Hilltopper
This year we were back to "normal" school and back with a fresh perspective on what our friends, teachers, and face to face classes mean to us. This book is all about our appreciation for what we have and how the pandemic has changed our perspectives on things. It's also about taking a new step forward in the creation of a fresh, new look for the Hilltopper. The book has all two-page spreads, more reporting and writing, and aims to include fresh, new perspectives from all the students in our school. We ordered 490 copies of the book this year and SOLD OUT!

This year's book has a photograph on the cover take right at our school by former teacher Amy White. The natural, neutral tones are peaceful and calming. The book is organized into three main sections: Together We Learn, Together We Win, and Together We are Family. We sold 383 books and included a special section just for seniors since they had a mostly remote year online. Mykala Anderson was the Editor, and this is the first book produced with new Adviser Jenny Zimmerman.
