Mrs. Tori King  

Hello everyone! My name is Tori King, and I am a ninth year, seventh grade teacher here at Erwin Middle School. I have been here for my entire teaching tenure, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I graduated from Erwin High School and then attended Western Carolina University. There I graduated summa cum laude and earned dual degrees in English and Education. 

I am originally from New Jersey. I moved to Leicester when I was fourteen and now live in Asheville. I love the mountains, and it’s where I was fortunate enough to meet my partner, Mr. King. We met in college and have been happily married for the past seven years. Mr. King is an eighth grade math teacher here, as well! Together we have two adventurous and adorable cats, Marble and Boulder.

I absolutely love my job; there isn’t anything else I’d rather do. I want the best for your children, and I will give them my all each and every day. I sincerely look forward to all this year has to offer. Please never hesitate to reach out!
