Kim Jones & Vona Robinson

My name is Kim Jones. This is my 30th year of teaching and my 20th year of being with my awesome assistant Mrs. Robinson. I went to Leicester Elementary K-6th grade so I have been a proud Wildcat almost all of my life! I am a graduate of Erwin High as well as Western Carolina University with a BS degree in Elementary Education.

My husband Greg and I have 3 children. Dylan ( wife Jessica), Austin & Allie. Dylan & his wife Jessica are both teachers at Erwin High. Austin is a nurse at Mission Hospital and my daughter is a senior at Mars Hill University majoring in nursing. We have 2 precious granddaughters, Lula-James and Emmie- Jo. I enjoy being active in my church, being with my family, going to sporting events and working out!

My name is Vona Robinson and I have worked at Leicester School since 2000 and have been with Mrs. Jones for the last 20 years! I am originally from Johnson City, TN but have made my home here since 1990 . I am married to Ricky and have 3 adult sons, Dillon, Garrett and Austin . They are all graduates of Erwin High. Dillon remains in Asheville, Garrett is a graduate of Western Carolina and lives in Raleigh with his wife Markie. Austin graduated from Mars Hill University and resides in Charlotte. I have 3 handsome grandsons named Cannon, Dawson and Garrett Jr. I also have one more grandson on the way. I love working with Mrs. Jones and our main goal is to educate our students while having fun.
