Welcome to my page!! My name is Erica Boyd and I am an Exceptional Children's Teacher at Sand Hill-Venable Elementary School. I love learning and I continue to learn daily from my colleagues, students, family, and friends!

I obtained my teaching degree from Mars Hill College and then decided I wanted to continue my educational journey by earning a masters degree. I applied and was accepted to Montreat College. I completed my schooling in 2010 and obtained a masters in elementary education degree.

My love for learning and teaching began as a child attending school within the Enka district of Buncombe County Schools. One of my fondest memories is of my 3rd grade teacher reading Charlotte's Web to the class. She was enthusiastic and showed a love for reading and learning. I strive to instill that same love for reading and learning into my students.

I am excited to be teaching at Sand Hill-Venable and to be a part of the Enka community! It's going to be a great year!
