Mrs. Torres

¡Hola! 

 My name is  Luz Torres I am from Monteria Cordoba , Colombia.

  I am a proud Glen Arden’s parent as well as one of  their Spanish teacher. 

 I attended college at Cordoba  University  Colombia where I had  a degree in education .

 I have a true passion for working with kindergartner learners!  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social  and language ; specially if this let me to extend my  culture and native language  motivating them to get it  through this wonderful Dual Language Program.

 I have been teaching  in kindergarten level  since 2010 in my country  and always I  have strived to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.  

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband Cristian  and my two kiddos; Santiago y Victoria, going out and discovering natural spaces, watching movies and prepare recipes at home.
