Mrs. K.

Hello! 

I'm Kelly Kanelos (aka Mrs. K.). I began my teaching career in 2000 in Vermont. I have been teaching in North Carolina since 2014.  Since moving here, I've have taught Title I, 1st grade and 2nd grade.  Since 2023 I have been teaching FCS at AC Reynolds High School. 

Some of my favorite parts of teaching are making connections with students and helping every child reach their highest potential. When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family. You can often find us swimming or playing boardgames together. I love to bake, read, and run.

Bachelor's Degree: Early Childhood Education  & Psychology

2004 - University of Vermont

Master's Degree - Special Education  with a concentration in Emotional Disorders

Tutoring Schedule: 

T/TH 7:30 - 7:55 and 3:00 - 3:00
