Mrs. Howell and family



  • I am the 3rd Grade Dual Language Teacher. I have been working at Oakley since 2014. I am an Oakley alumni and I also attended Reynolds Middle and High School.

  • I received my license to teach from Mars Hill University and my BA in Spanish from UNC Asheville. I studied abroad in Bolivia and Spain. I have also traveled to Nicaragua, Mexico, and Costa Rica.

  • Interesting fact: I am the only person in my family that is bilingual! I am so glad that I get to share this gift of bilingualism with my students and accompany them on their journey to learn in Spanish.
