I have been teaching 8th grade science at Valley Springs since 1998. I attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC I have been playing and/or coaching volleyball, basketball, softball or soccer for over 45 years. Coaching at Valley Springs has been an honor and given me incredible memories. Teaching is truly what I love to do. My goal is to create a daily opportunity where students thrive and grow as learners. I have high expectations of myself to provide support, encouragement and challenging content. There is also high expectations of students in areas of integrity, commitment, attitude, responsibility and self motivation to engage in the learning process. I am strongly committed to Valley Springs and firmly believe that the administration, faculty and staff work diligently to provide an amazing and safe middle school opportunity for all students.
