Media Specialist - M. Bryant McEntire
Mr McEntire has a diverse background having been a K-12 Spanish Teacher for a decade while obtaining a masters degree in library science from UNCG. He has primarily served as a teacher librarian for over 20 years in Asia returning to Buncombe County Schools in 2020 and our school in 2022. He enjoys researching, digital literacies, instilling academic honesty, motivating students to read, STEAM, Maker Spaces, as well as inter and intra school collaboration including extracurricular activities. He is enthusiastic and effective with constructing authentic learning contexts that go beyond the immediate learning community that transcend the school's confines. As a father of five, he is empathetic to families and has experienced the demands and pressures prevalent in the 21st century.
