Mollie McDonald

I am the media specialist here at Woodfin Elementary School. My favorite part of my job is working with children to foster the love of reading. Before working at Woodfin Elementary School, I was a media specialist at Avery's Creek Elementary, and before that, I was a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher for nine years in Asheville City Schools. 

I graduated from UNCA with an elementary teaching license and majored in Environmental Policy. I received my Master's Degree from Appalachian State University in Library Science. My grown children graduated from Buncombe County Schools, and I am proud to be a public school educator.
