Hello and welcome to Valley Springs Middle! I am the 8th grade school counselor here at Valley Springs Middle. I have been a school counselor since 2007 and been in Buncombe County since 2013. I grew up in Buncombe County and went to Buncombe County Schools. I graduated from King University in Bristol, TN with a degree in Psychology and from Western Carolina University with my Masters in Counseling.

As a school counselor I am here to help support all students in the area's of academics, social and emotional health. We speak to students individually, in groups, and in the classrooms.
