I have had the joy of teaching at Fairview Elementary since 2012, when I relocated from the foothills with my son to be closer these gorgeous mountains that we are always exploring. We spend our time enjoying festivals, music shows, hiking, and taking long road trips every summer on our journey to visit all the national parks before my son graduates high school. Scouting is also a big part of our lives and we enjoy the many adventures it provides as my son works toward his goal of reaching Eagle Scout rank.

After a successful but stressful early career in the business world, I decided to pursue what I had wanted to do since childhood - being a teacher! I specifically chose struggling learners because I have a passion for helping others and felt that I could make the biggest impact in this area of education. I got my teaching credentials from ASU and have enjoyed teaching since. I am so happy I followed my heart and absolutely love working with my students, their parents, and my co-workers here!
