Melanie Norton

I have been teaching at Eblen Intermediate since 2017 but began my teaching career in 1998. I taught for many years in Tennessee before moving to beautiful Western North Carolina. I have spent years teaching several different grades, but find 5th grade to be my absolute favorite.

I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Carson-Newman University. When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, cooking, gardening and doing crafts.

I am the mom of 4 boys and step-mom to 2 boys. My husband and I stay busy keeping up with our six boys.
