I am Ms. DeRossett and I am excited to join the Valley Springs faculty this year. I moved at the beginning of the summer to Asheville from Rockledge, Florida, which is near Cape Canaveral. I taught school in Rockledge for nine years, but always dreamed of living in the mountains, so I decided to make Asheville my forever home. My undergraduate degree is from the University of West Florida and I have a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix. I believe education should be engaging and relevant, and I look forward to working with all the students here at Valley Springs.
