Kathleen Willi

Welcome! I am the current media specialist at Enka Intermediate! I spent the first 13 years in Kannapolis and the last couple years within Buncombe County Schools. I studied Elementary Education at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, Academically/Intellectually Gifted Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and Information and Library Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

I love being able to connect students to various texts and digital resources. I am incredibly eager to work as the educator for the Design Thinking class for sixth grade. In addition to various design projects, I also use Google Classroom as a way of extending our content.

Maya Angelou once said, “I believe that every person is born with talent.” I hope to accomplish wonderful things this year and will strive to allow my students’ talents to shine as well!
