Ms. Brouwer

Science Teacher

Greetings!!! I've been a very proud Reynolds Rocket since 2020.  Before joining the team here, I taught in Transylvania County for 13 years.  I've had the joy of teaching Earth/Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physical Science.  Additionally, I am a member of our school Literacy Team, and I co-sponsor of our school's Environmental Club.

I am originally from Bethel, Connecticut and attended James Madison University (GO DUKES!!!) in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

My husband and I are active within WNC's incredible running community, both on the road, as well as the trail. We welcomed our son, Sutton, into the world in March of 2017, followed by our daughter,  Adia, in November of 2019.  As a family, we love the outdoors, including hiking, camping, and boating. We do our best to appreciate and utilize the amazing area in which we live!

I use Google Classroom as my learning management system, and will provide enrollment codes for students during the first week of school. Additionally, I always encourage an open line of communication between families and me. Please always feel welcome to email me with any questions or concerns.
