Mary Beth Begley- Speech Therapist

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist for BCS in the Owen district.

I am working at Black Mountain Primary, Black Mountain Elementary, and Owen High School. I also see students at the Head Start program on BMP's campus.

I am a proud graduate from Appalachian State University. I have an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and masters degree in speech-language pathology.

My mission as a school Speech-Language Pathologist is to empower all students to become confident and effective communicators. Communication difficulties can impact a child's ability to read, write, engage with peers, and succeed academically. We work together as a school team to address these challenges through a comprehensive, evidence-based approach.
