Marilynn Whitcher

I teach math and science here at North Windy Ridge and have been teaching children for over 20 years.

I graduated from Appalachian State with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and then received a Master of Arts in Education/Teaching English to Speakers of other languages from Western Carolina.

I also teach future math teachers once a week at UNCA and I LOVE IT!

I enjoy hiking, biking, paddle boarding, traveling near and far, hanging with my family, gardening and reading. Sampson is my favorite travel buddy! I found him as a stray at NWR 14 years ago and he has been mine ever since!
