We, the student support team of Community High School, are dedicated to connecting with students where they are, providing individualized and school-wide supports. We strive to empower students to reach their full potential in an environment safe for all students, and to teach students to recognize their inherent value as a whole person in our school community and beyond.

School Counselor
I am delighted to join the team and incredible students at Community High School this year as the new school counselor. I come to CHS from Buncombe County Middle College, where I was the school counselor since 2021 after 17 years of middle school teaching in Western North Carolina. I attended James Madison University for my undergraduate degree in psychology and education and Western Carolina University for my Master's in Education in school counseling degree.
My role as a school counselor is to support students in their academic, college/career, and social/emotional needs.
