Me and my wife Dana enjoying the outdoors. I love being outside. Our classes will often take advantage of beautiful days like the one above!


  • I teach PE here at Cane Creek Middle School. I have been teaching in Buncombe County Schools my entire career.

  • I graduated from Reynolds High School.

  • I graduated college from Appalachian State University.

  • I am National Board Certified and I have a Masters in Leadership from Western Carolina.

  • I teach because I love to interact with young people and specifically, I love to teach in the PE environment and be in the gym and outside.

  • Our primary form of digital interaction is Google Classroom.
