Lynn Isgrig

I am the Career Development Coordinator, Instructional Management Coordinator, & Special Populations Coordinator at NBHS. I work very closely with our Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department and assist students interested in Internships and CTE Advanced studies classes. I love my job and working at NBHS!

My career with Buncombe County schools started at Barnardsville Elementary School working in the office! Later, I moved to the Computer Lab as an Assistant. Closely working with students helped me to realize that I wanted to get my teaching certification and work in a high school. I taught Foods & Nutrition Classes at TC Roberson for 10 years before becoming the CDC at Owen High School. I was at Owen High one year before officially becoming part of the North Buncombe High School family. All 3 of my children are graduates of NBHS.

I graduated from Andrews High School and received BS degrees in Business Administration and Economics. Later I received an MBA from Western Carolina University. I received my teaching certification from NC A & T.

In my free time I love to be with my grandchildren! I also love to walk and be involved in family activities.
