Education
I attended The College of William and Mary for undergraduate work in Theatre and Speech and NYU / Hunter College for Masters work in Dance Therapy. Having worked extensively throughout the country on professional (NYC) and regional shows, I have taught at The Governor's School for the Arts as well as multiple studios and institutions throughout the country in the areas of Theatre, Design, and Dance . Some of the classes include: Acting, Scene Design, Technical Theatre, Theatre History, Stage Combat, Contact Improvisation, Choreography and Design, Tap, Percussion, Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre Dance, and Ballroom Dance.
I look forward to bringing all of these opportunities to the students here at Reynolds. I love it here at Reynolds and am enjoying beautiful WNC after having moved here from NYC and the Hudson Valley. I look forward to working with you this year and please contact me (through my contact link) with any questions you may have about the program, our shows, or any volunteer opportunities you might be interested in.
I use Google Classroom. Students will get a join code in class. My office hours are 8 - 9 am and 3-3:30 pm by appointment. I am available for tutoring during these hours as well.
I grade on participation and not on ability and believe everyone can benefit from learning about Theatre!
Auditions for the fall and winter productions and the spring musical are highly competitive and we rehearse after school as well as during during the school day. Information for auditions will be posted at the beginning of the school year on the Theatre Arts Site and on the call board outside of room 110. Everyone is welcome to audition or participate on one of the many crew opportunities!
