Leslie Soesbee

Hi there!

I'm Leslie Soesbee and I teach 7th grade Social Studies here at Cane Creek Middle School. This is my 6th year at Cane Creek, as well as in 7th grade.  I am a native of Buncombe County and graduated from Enka High School. I then went on to get my Bachelor's Degree in History at Western Carolina University (Go Catamounts!). I then went to UNC-A and received my NC Teaching License in 6-12 Social Studies Education. As a lifelong resident of Buncombe County, I am so proud and thankful to be able to give back to the community that I was raised in. 

When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, traveling, working out, catching up on my favorite TV shows and best of all, spending quality time with my sweet puppy, Finn. 

The Learning Management System (LMS) that I use in my classroom is Google Classroom.
