Ms. Kiell

Hello wonderful Ram family! I'm Ms. Kiell and you will frequently see me in  science, social studies, math, and ELA classes. If you keep a watchful eye, you also might see me working with a small group on organization and study skills, social/emotional growth, or even how to navigate middle school to get ready for high school! (I like to keep busy). 

My goal is to help students become independent learners who are not afraid to take risks when it comes to their learning. Growth occurs when we are outside of our comfort zone!

I grew up in northern Virginia and moved to Asheville in 2015. I joined Valley Springs Middle School in 2025. When I'm not zooming around VSMS campus, I spend most of my free time baking yummy treats, chasing squirrels with my adorable pittie, Jolene, and hanging out in the sunshine with a book or friends.
