Hello! My name is Lauri Burton.

Teaching is a passion of mine. I love to see children learning and growing in their knowledge and confidence.

I have been a teacher since 1994 after graduating from Norfolk State University. I know that teaching young children is where my heart is. They bring such joy and enthusiasm to life.

I am honored to have worked at Emma and in the Emma community for over two decades. The students, staff, and families at Emma are a wonderful group of people and It is my privilege to be a part of it all for over two decades.
