Mrs. LaTonya Walters

I grew up in Caldwell County where I graduated from South Caldwell High School. I enjoyed playing volleyball, softball, and basketball throughout my time there. I completed my education degree at Mars Hill College. My year long internship was here at North Buncombe Elementary where I fell in love with the school, the staff, and the community. I have been teaching for over 25 years. I was honored to be chosen as North Buncombe Elementary Teacher of the Year for 2019 - 2020.
