I am an Exceptional Children's Teacher and have been teaching since 2003.

I am married with two children, a boy and a girl. I have lived in Arden since 2000. In my freetime, I enjoy photography, hiking and most of all quality time with family.

I am from WNC and attended school in Haywood County. Both of my children went through Glen Arden Elementary and have been in the Buncombe County School system since 2010.

I received my Bachelor's of Science from East Carolina Univiersity and a Master's in Teaching from Western Carolina University.

I love having the opportunity to build community within my classroom and make a difference in the lives of the students I teach. Building their self-confidence and independence is also a passion of mine.
