Kristina Horton

Hello! I'm a third grade teacher at Haw Creek Elementary. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and twenty-three years of teaching experience. I taught third graders in Shelby NC. I taught fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students in a multi-grade classroom at a Montessori School in Charlotte. The last twelve years I've taught fourth grade students and then third grade students at Haw Creek Elementary. 

I practice mindfulness techniques and growth mindset talks with students in the classroom. I value the opportunity to continue to work with the amazing students, families, and teachers here at Haw Creek Elementary.
