7th Grade Math and Science (Weaver Team)

I was raised in the North Buncombe community, graduating from North Buncombe High School. I attended Cumberland College in Kentucky to receive my bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education. I began teaching at NBMS in 2005. In 2010 I completed my Master’s degree in Middle Grades Education from Western Carolina University. In 2012, I was honored to receive my National Board Certification in Early Adolescence Mathematics. This year I will be teaching 7th Grade Math and Science on the Weaver Team.

I aim to provide an interactive and engaging classroom experience for all students. We will use Google Classroom for both math and science classes this year. PowerSchool is also a great resource to check your child's academic progress.
