School Social Worker

• I am married with two children, three dogs and a cat. I enjoy traveling with my family and hikes with my doberman. In my spare time I love thrifting and refurbishing furniture.

• I graduated from Mars Hill University in 2018 with a Bachelors in Social Work. I have worked throughout Buncombe County Schools for several years.

• As a school social worker I provide direct and indirect services to students, familis and school staff to promote and support students academic and social success.

• Being a social worker brings me a lot of joy especially knowing that I have made a difference in the lives of students and their families. It is important for me to build trusting relationships with families and support them with needed resources.
