Kim Maise

Hi! My name is Kim Maise and I am proud to be the Media Coordinator/Librarian at Johnston Elementary. I have been at Johnston since 2018 and in the library since 2021. Before moving to Asheville, I was a Media Specialist for Orange County in Florida for 11 years.

I am a North Carolina native, earning my BA in English Literature from UNC-Wilmington and my MLS from Appalachian State. When I am not at Johnston, you will find me reading, listening to music or playing board games with my husband and son.

I love to read and I believe that there is a book that will stir the same love in each of our mighty bears. It is my joy to help them find it.
