A native of Western North Carolina, Ms. Forbes went to Yancey County Public Schools and then to Appalachian State University where she earned her degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Secondary Education.
Ms. Forbes also has the ServSafe Manager, Instructor, and Proctor Certification.
Ms. Forbes has been a Reynolds Rocket since 2018!
Besides teaching, Ms. Forbes is involved at Reynolds as a Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America Adviser (FCCLA) and Co-Chair of the Faculty Care Team.
In her spare time, Ms. Forbes loves to bake and experiment with new recipes, travel, and spend time with loved ones.
Ms. Forbes uses Canvas as her LMS.
