Hello and welcome!
I have been teaching since 2010, and every year reminds me why I chose this profession—I truly love watching children learn, grow, and discover their strengths. North Buncombe Elementary holds a very special place in my heart, not only because I work here, but because I once walked these same halls as a student. Being able to teach in the school that shaped my own childhood feels incredibly meaningful.
I’m happily married to my wonderful husband, and together we have two fun-loving boys who keep life exciting and full of laughter. Our family also includes our sweet dog, Wallace, who is always ready for an adventure (or a nap!). Outside of school, I spend much of my time cheering on my oldest son at baseball games and enjoying quality time with family and friends. We’re huge baseball fans at home—GO BRAVES!—and love watching games together whenever we can.
I’m truly looking forward to all the learning, growth, and memorable moments ahead. I can’t wait to see everything we will achieve together this year!
