Welcome to North Windy Ridge 

We are going to have a fabulous year learning new concepts and enriching our brains in AIG class.  This year I will be at both North Windy Ridge Intermediate School and Barnardsville Elementary School working with our advanced learners.  I am so excited to be part of a profession influencing so many young minds.  I enjoy learning something new either from my students or just by exploring a new subject.  

I started teaching fourth grade at a rural school in Beaufort County, South Carolina, years ago and then decided to move to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.  I started my early years teaching third and fourth grade at Leicester Elementary School and then my interests pulled me towards middle school.  I taught at Enka Middle School for a few years focusing on sixth grade math and science.  After exploring different grade levels, I decided to complete my AIG Licensure Add-On through Western Carolina University.  I am extremely excited for the opportunity to be able to work with your child this year and help them grow.  Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.  

I will be at BES every Wednesday and NWR on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
