Welcome to our 3rd grade class!

I am so excited to be at Sand Hill!  I have been teaching since 2002. I began in Jacksonville, Florida (Go Jaguars!) where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade. My husband and I moved to North Carolina in 2015 where I taught 4th grade in Haywood County.  

Teaching is my passion and I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in second grade. I attended Florida State University where I received my bachelor's degree. When I am not teaching, I love to be outside gardening, hiking, camping, or traveling. My husband and I have been to 47 states and 37 National Parks.
