Katie Roman

I've been at ACRHS as an EC teacher since 2018! I previously taught Middle School English for two years in Florida before transitioning to High School/EC. My primary goal as an educator is to prepare students for life outside of the classroom, through meaningful connections and engaging lessons provided within our classroom community. I strive for each individual student to find their own purpose for learning, while discovering joy, in some form, throughout the school day.

When I'm not teaching I love to spend time outdoors with my partner Anna and our two pups: Poppy and Roan! I also enjoy traveling and everything CrossFit!

Education: Bachelor of Science in English Education, Florida State University
