I graduated from North Carolina State University in 2012 with my Bachelors Degree in Science Education.
I have been teaching Earth Science, Chemistry and AP Environmental Science since January of 2013.
I am a product of Buncombe County Schools, graduating in 2008, and knew when I started my job search that there was nowhere else I would rather teach.
I made my way back from Raleigh and haven't looked back, although NC State will always hold a special place in my heart.
When I'm not teaching, you can normally find me out on the hiking trails around WNC with my husband, our son, Jacob and our three dogs, Luna, Kennis and Bandit. Although they won't be hiking with us my three cats, Mocha, Simon and Oliver will be at home sitting in sun beams waiting for us to return.
I can't wait to work with you this school year!
