Julie Wimbish

Hello! My name is Julie Wimbish and I am thrilled to be a part of the Roberson community as a Reading Specialist. I am a native to Asheville and graduated from T.C. Roberson. Koontz has been home to me since 2015 as a fifth grade teacher. I love the Roberson district and have two children of my own that attend schools in this district.

I am a graduate of UNC-Greensboro and my education certification is Birth-6th grade and Reading Specialist (K-12). My role as Title 1 Reading Specialist is to provide reading intervention to small groups of students. Connecting with students and building positive relationships is goal that drives me daily!
