I am a seventh‑grade science teacher who brings a global perspective and a passion for hands‑on learning to my classroom. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business with a minor in Poultry Science from Louisiana State University and later completed a master’s degree in Vocational Education. Over the course of my 30-year career, I have taught middle school in diverse settings including Louisiana, Virginia, Moscow, Russia, and Mebane, North Carolina, before settling in Asheville with my family. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and two dogs, fishing and hunting, cooking, and cheering on the LSU Tigers—no matter the sport.
