Jonathan Hintz

I am a third grade teacher here at Weaverville Elementary School and I have been in that position since 2018. Prior to teaching at Weaverville Elementary, I taught second and third grades at Haw Creek since 2004. 

I was born and raised in Durham, NC and attended college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I received my degree in elementary education.  

I believe in creating a joyful classroom that fosters student learning by helping students become leaders that take  ownership of their learning.  Hard work , building relationships, and laughter are foundations of my classroom!  I look forward to helping your child grow this year in 3rd grade!
