After a career in business and non-profit leadership upon graduating from Western Carolina University,  I followed my passion for education and am excited to inspire students through collaborative hands-on project based learning. 

I believe students learn best when they ask questions, solve problems, work together and discover mistakes are opportunities to grow. 

My classroom theme, "Mistakes are Portals to Discovery", reminds me to create a classroom where curiosity, creativity, resilience and innovation are celebrated every day.
