Mrs. Riddle cheering on Rocket Baseball with her dog, Briggsley!
I am so excited to be starting another great year in Rocket Country! I graduated from Reynolds in 2014 and am so grateful to return here to teach! Reynolds has always been home to my family, and I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to be teaching alongside educators who have poured so much into me and in a community that has always held such a special place in my heart.
After falling in love with Special Education in Mrs. Choi's Intensive Intervention classroom as a student at Reynolds, I went on to Western Carolina University and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Inclusive Education and again in 2020 with a Master's degree in Severe and Profound Special Education. I am certified in Special Education and Adapted Curriculum K-12, and I am now a lower grades Intensive Intervention teacher right next door to Mrs. Choi in our Extended Content Program! In our classroom, we have a focus on developing academic skills as well as basic job and social skills!
When I am not teaching, you can find me running around with my family and my sweet little pup, Briggsley!
I am so grateful for the chance to love the kiddos who walk through my door and look so, so forward to another year full of learning and growing together. Go Rockets!
