• I am a graduate of Western Carolina University.  Go Catamounts! I grew up here in these lovely mountains and went to North Buncombe High School.   Go Blackhawks!

• I love teaching!  This will be my 26th year in education. It is so fulfilling to help ALL children reach their full potential.  This is such a rewarding job.  Plus, it comes with lots of free hugs! 

• When I am not in the classroom, you will find me walking with my dog, reading, clogging, or traveling with my husband.  Some of the countries I have visited include: Greece, Italy, Turkey, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Ireland, Scotland, and more!
